Tuesday's with the girls

The first Tuesday of each month, 

I get together with Terry, Nancy, and Shauna (who owns Jam) at Jam in Scottsdale.  

We decide on a theme and just bring items that we think we could all use to make a piece of art.  

These get togethers are such a blast and re-engrizing to my creative soul.

This month, we chose "hearts" and I knew exactly what I wanted to make.

I had seen this amazing wall art at one of my favorite places to shop, Found in downtown Mesa 

and wanted to recreate something like it.  

This piece is an early Valentine gift for the hubby.

Three Little Words Wednesday

This summer when we were vacationing in the fabulous beach town, Carpinteria, I came across 

this amazing little book called "Three little words to live by" by Karen Langley.  

The whole book is positive messages and simple life lessons all summed up in a variety of 

"THREE LITTLE WORDS".  

While cleaning off my desk, I found the book again and sat down to read it. 

The first page was exactly what I needed to start this new year.

I still have not finished cleaning off my desk but I'm back working on it.
